Crystal Stevens Crouch-Houck It is with heavy hearts, we shade the passing of Crystal Stevens Crouch-Houck, a beloved wife, mother, sister, and Oma, who left this world on Friday, June 19, 2026. Crystal passed away peacefully at Cabell Huntington Hospital after a long a courageous battle of illness, surrounded by the love of her family.

Born January 31 in Huntington, WV to Estle and Janet Davis-Stevens who along with her grandparents Dave and Evelyn Davis and Russell and Sarah Bell Stevens all preceded her in death.

Crystal’s life was a testament to her strong spirit and capacity for love. She was a devoted and cherished wife of Jamey Houck, who adored her more than anything in the world. Together, they built a life rich in love and laughter that became her greatest joy.

She is survived by her daughters Autum Stevens-England and husband Damon of Clear Fork, WV, and Lauren Bryar Crouch of Ona, WV. Crystal’s legacy lives on in her role as an Oma to Rylee and Shade England of Clear Fork; Navy Pillichody-Crouch of Ona; Zao, Freya, and Rorik Harshbarger of Wayne; and Mia Harshbarger of Hurricane. And a special Nana to Skylar and wife Nicki Harshbarger.

Crystal shared a unique and unbreakable bond with her twin sister Heather Harshbarger, and husband Craig. Together Crystal and Heather created countless memories filled with a lot of love, laughter, and support demonstrating the true meaning of family.

Chris was a woman of strength, and her presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

In accordance to her wishes a private family ceremony will be held. Her family appreciates the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time, and requests prayers as they grieve their loss.

Though she has departed from this physical world, Crystal will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends.
