
Judith Ann Browning, 66, of Barboursville, West Virginia, passed away on June 22, 2026, at Hospice House of Huntington, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on April 22, 1960, Judith lived a life centered on love, family, education, and creating cherished memories with those she held dear.
Judith graduated from Huntington East High School in 1978. Demonstrating her determination and commitment to lifelong learning, she later earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Marshall University in 1996, an accomplishment of which she was immensely proud.
Judith was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, family member, and friend. She shared 44 wonderful years of marriage with her beloved husband, Benny, building a life filled with love, laughter, beautiful memories, and a family she treasured beyond measure. She was immensely proud of her beautiful children and cherished every moment spent with them and her grandchildren.
She had a special passion for photography and enjoyed capturing life's precious moments through her camera lens. Above all else, she treasured spending time with her beloved granddaughters, Bella and Gabby, affectionately known as her "Twincesses." The joy they brought to her life was immeasurable, and she cherished every opportunity to make memories with them.
Judith attended Lewis Memorial Baptist Church, where her faith was an important part of her life and where she found strength, comfort, and fellowship throughout the years. The family takes comfort in knowing she is now at peace in the presence of her Lord and Savior.
She is survived by her loving husband, Benny Browning; her mother, Betty Spears; her daughter, Carlee Little, and son-in-law, Brian Little; her son, Mason Browning; her cherished granddaughters, Bella and Gabby Lester (Carlee Little); her brother, Russell Bailey (Regina Bailey); her sister, Tamara Burford (Kenny Burford); her brothers, Mike Townson, Joe Townson, and Jeff Townson (Barbara); as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever cherish her memory. She was preceded in death by her father, James Martin Bailey.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Friday, June 26, 2026, at Wallace Funeral Home in Barboursville, West Virginia. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 p.m., with burial to follow at Enon Cemetery in Salt Rock, West Virginia.
In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, the family welcomes floral tributes or memorial donations to the Lewis Memorial Daily Walk Ministry.
