Jimmy Roger Elkins, 74, of Huntington, W.Va., went home to be with the Lord on July 8, 2026 at Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. He was born August 31, 1951 in Huntington, W.Va., a son of the late, Herbert and Harvalee Wilson Elkins. He is survived by his wife, Robin Trimble Elkins; one daughter, Kaylee Lucas (Joseph); one son, Jeremiah Elkins (Marissa); one sister, Marion Holbrook (Tom); two brothers, Chuck Elkins (Eppie) and Paul Elkins (Jane); three grandchildren, Ben Elkins, Nathaniel Elkins and Rosa Lucas; and a host of nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be conducted 1 p.m. Saturday, July 25, 2026 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Ashton, W.Va. with Pastor Chuck Elkins officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery.
