Rebecca Jean Allen Baldwin, 77, went to heaven on July 22, 2026. A resident of Barboursville, WV, she was the daughter of the late James William Allen “Dink” and Dorothy Jean Hunter Allen.
Rebecca is survived at home by her husband of 49 years, Thomas Baldwin, two sons, Hunter Baldwin of Barboursville, and Zachary Baldwin (Emily) of Huntington, one brother James William Allen (Jacqueline), and three grandchildren, Avery, Hadley, and Laiken.
Rebecca enjoyed a successful teaching career of over 40 years in Cabell County, where she will be remembered for the positive influences she offered to her many students. She continued a family tradition of educational service with a resume that also included coaching, youth sports, and special tutoring as well as being the church organist at Barboursville First United Methodist for many years.
The family would like to thank the staff of Hospice of Huntington for all of their loving care.
