Jim Gill, 84, of Salt Rock, WV, passed away August 4, 2026. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, August 8, 2026 at the Wallace Funeral Home and Chapel, Barboursville, by Pastor Robbie Holton. Burial will be in Gill Cemetery, Salt Rock, WV. He was born October 12, 1941 in Salt Rock, a son of the late, Lonnie and Jessie Davis Gill. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Hancil Gill and Bobbie "Mousie" Gill and sisters, Margaret Bills and Myrtle Ellen Gilkerson. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Helen Adkins Gill; children, Dana Smith, Tom Gill (Tammy) and Marlana Gill; brother, Howard Gill; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
