Jennings Eugene Adkins, 80, of Salt Rock, WV, passed away August 9, 2026. He was born December 25, 1945, son of the late Jennings and Lulie Adkins. He was also preceded in death by sons, Eugene Allen Adkins and Jeffrey Wayne Adkins, two grandsons Christopher Shawn Adkins and David Allen Adkins. He is survived by his wife of 60 years Goldie Adkins; daughter Angela Dawn Adkins (David); son Steven Brian Adkins (Victoria); siblings, Johnney Adkins, Ella Lester, Linda Adkins, Shirley Vazquez, and Arthur Adkins; grandchildren Dakota Adkins, Noah Adkins, Christen Adkins, Colton Roseberry, Anthony Davis, Latisha Gue, Alyssa Davis and Jaylynn Davis; and several great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, August 13, 2026, at Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville. Burial will be in Watson Cemetery, Branchland, WV.
