Shawna Marie Cole, 56, of Huntington, W.Va., went home to be with the Lord on Monday, August 17, 2026. She was born June 3, 1970 a daughter of Brenda Elder (Charles) of Huntington, W.Va. and the late, Eddie Russell Cole. In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by a brother, Russell Cole and step-brother, Michael Elder. She was retired from the Huntington Police Department. In addition to her mother, she is survived by a sister, Lisa Wilson (Greg); step-sister, Tina Hughes (Jason); nieces and nephews, Kaitlynn Hughes (Matt), Sarah Smith (Zachary), Brooke Elder, Jacob Hughes (Jasmynn) and Baylee Wilson; and a host of great-nieces and great-nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 3 p.m. Saturday, August 22, 2026 at Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville with Pastor Zachary Smith officiating.
