1965 - 2026
 David Andrew Edmunds, 61, of Barboursville, WV, passed away October 8, 2026, due to complications of esophageal cancer, surrounded by his family. He was born May 27, 1965. He was preceded in death by his dad, David Allen "Yogi" Edmunds December 2024. He was a Cabell County School Bus driver of 17 years, which he enjoyed very much. He is survived by his three children, Elyssa Burch (Mark), Colton and Cameron Edmunds; one grandson, Zealand Burch; his mother, Sharon (Hicks) Edmunds; two sisters, Parthena (Edmunds) Booton (Kevin) and Jannifer Jo “JJ” (Edmunds) Hurt; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville, is in charge of arrangements. The family would like to thank Hospice of Huntington and especially Tim Beach for his kindness, care, and friendship. Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, October 25, 2026 from 2 to 5 p.m. at Barboursville Park, Shelter 7. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Huntington Cabell Wayne Animal Shelter. I have so many wonderful funny memories of Dave. I don’t have a single bad memory.
One that makes me laugh- summer of 94. I went to the beach house with his family. We went to putt putt golf. I got two hole in ones. He jumped up and down in disbelief. He said golfers wait their whole lives just to get one hole in one. He was an avid golfer at that time. I had no idea - it was just a fluke for me.
He was a good man, good dad and great brother in law 💕 I am so sorry for your loss. Colton, Elyssa and Camron always know your dad loves you fiercely!

Great neighbor and friend always friendly and helpful I already miss him riding his 4wheeler flag flying coming to visit sitting in my garage evenings cooking out cold beer mostly just being a friend I’ll never forget you god blessx3hqcl
