Donas Lynn Scott, 72, of Huntington, WV, passed away Monday, October 19, 2026 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. He was born December 3, 1953 in Beckley, WV, a son of the late John Keith Scott and Evelyn Frances Reed Scott. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Joan Carolyn Scott. He is survived by his wife, Connie Brown Scott; two daughters, Melissa Scott Elkins of Lexington, SC, and Barbara Kirk Litton of Steptown, WV; four sons, Michael Scott, Derek Jones of Huntington, WV, William Kirk of King’s Mountain, NC, and Michael Shayne Kirk of Barboursville, WV; three brothers, Gary Scott of South Charleston, WV, John Keith Scott of St. Albans, WV, and Phillip Scott of Culloden, WV; and seven grandchildren, Jamin Michael Elkins, Ariel Hancock, Emily Brooke Kirk, Brady Austin Kirk, Abigail Grace Kirk, Sydney Jace Litton and Jacob Litton. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date. Wallace Funeral Home and Chapel, Barboursville, is assisting the family with arrangements.
