This is late, but in viewing her life here; I can tell she was of the old, proud generation, and God bless her!, a survivor! without her our lives would not be as good as they are today. Please receive my respectful condolences.

Phyllis was a wonderful Christian woman who inspired her church family tremendously. Her signature song is and will always be "He's Still Passing By" to which no one will ever be able to master as she. Go rest from your labours and sing with the angels our dear sister in Christ. We Love You!

To all of Phyllis' family: I am so sorry to hear of her passing. I was remembering the times when she and Erman were first married and we visited them at their home at Smith Creek, and all the times we saw her at the Isaacs Family Reunion. It is such a sad time. I was looking through old pictures and found one of the twins when they were babies and being held by my sisters, Peggy and Vicki! Those were good times. Eternal peace and joyous reunions where you are now, Phyllis.

My sister graduated LPN school with Phyllis and I worked as a student nurse/nurse aide with her on Orthopedics at St. Mary's from 1981-1984. She was a wonderful nurse and taught me so much about bedside nursing. I always enjoyed coming in to work and finding that I had been assigned to work with her. May God grant the family peace and strength during this difficult time. Rest in eternal peace, Phyllis. Your work is done.

To the children of Mrs. Samson. I am so sorry to hear about your mother. I met her years ago when our dear friend Scott lived here. She was a very nice lady. Also Bob and I were good friends and nighbors with Scott and Kim before they moved . We are just now finding out about Scott's death. I hate that we didn't find out sooner. Scott and Kim stopped to see us several years ago and left a phone number which I can't find. Would one of you please contact us or give Kim my email so I can call or email her. So So sorry about your loses. I'm sure they are having a wonderfull reunion. Bob and Debbie Osburn

I worked with Phyllis at SMMC. She was one of the nicest people I worked with. She would always sit and "just listen" to whatever anyone had to say. I am sorry she has passed away...but just know Heaven has gained an Angel with open arms...she will always be remembered by many people. RIP Phyllis....
