 Julia Ann Smith, 50, of Barboursville passed away on Saturday, November 7, 2009 at St. Marys Medical Center. Memorial services will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. Thursday, November 12, 2009 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville by Pastor Dennis Smith. She was born February, 1, 1959, in Huntington, WV, a daughter of Jimmie and Emily Thompson Gue of Huntington. She is survived by her husband, Dennis Smith; one daughter and son-in-law, Amanda and Chris McCallister of South Point, OH; one son and daughter-in-law, Dennis and Karissa Smith of Huntington, WV; two sisters, Sherry London and Lauraetta Perdue; three brothers, Tommy Gue, Jimi Gue and Josh Gue; four grandchildren, Savannah, Madalynn and Liam Smith and Ava McCallister. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Thursday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville. Online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/wallace.

From the woman who's Grandma was at St Mary's ICU at the same time as your Mom. My heart broke for you when I saw you coming into the funeral home that day. You are far too young to lose your Mom. There are no words. Maybe on Saturday they were standing at the elevator together waiting to go up.
