Geraldine Yvonne Adkins, 89, of Huntington, passed away Sunday, April 7, 2024. She was born May 8, 1934 in Huntington, a daughter of the late Antil Horse and Mabel Dolen Adkins. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Edward Adkins and a daughter, Rhonda Adkins. She is survived by her daughter, Pamela Kay Morrison of Barboursville and one son, Gregory Adkins of Huntington; sister, Carolyn Sue Adkins of Huntington; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. To my beautiful grandmother..
Those last few days of heartbreak turned into such a blessing. To be received into heaven is such a happy thing and I know you're as happy as ever there with Papaw and the rest of the family. We will miss you here but rejoice for you are home now. I love you so much!
