Sally Lee WellsSally Lee Wells, 88, of Huntington, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, following a brief illness.

Sally attended Vinson High School and later married the love of her life, Jack Wells. After beginning her family, she earned her Registered Nursing degree from Marshall University and went on to enjoy a long and fulfilling career as a registered nurse. Caring for others was not just her profession—it was a reflection of her generous and compassionate heart.

In retirement, Sally delighted in life’s simple pleasures. She loved playing cards with friends, going out to eat, shopping, and traveling. Time spent with family brought her the greatest joy.

She was the beloved daughter of Cecil Baker and Mildred Meyers, and the devoted younger sister and lifelong best friend of Betty Langhorst. Sally was a loving mother to Jack, Judy (Chuck), and Jennifer (Kent). She was a proud and cherished grandmother to Morgan (Chase), Courtney, and Amanda; great-grandmother to Allison (Ryan), Tyson, and Shannon; and great-great-grandmother to Nolan.

She also held close her extended family—Ken and Sharon, Courtney, and Cole—whom she loved dearly.

Sally loved everyone she met. She had a remarkable gift for seeing the good in people and encouraging them to be their best. She was deeply genuine—what you saw was exactly who she was—kind, sincere, and wholehearted in her love for others. Her warmth, kindness, and unwavering support left a lasting impression on all who knew her. She truly brought out the best in all of us.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, February 27, 2026, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Wallace Funeral Home in Barboursville. Online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/wallace.
