Marilynne Cox Ransom at the age of 77, who went to be with the Lord on Sunday, Nov. 6, 2005 at her home in Ingram, Texas. She was born June 27, 1928 in Cotton Plant, Arkansas to Mr. and Mrs. Biaett. She worked in Interior Design for many years. Marilynne moved to Fredericksburg in 1970. She married King Ransom in Fredericksburg, Texas on Aug. 8, 1985. Marilynne and King started the first Bed and Breakfast with Ken Knopp it was in one of the Historical homes in Fredericksburg, Texas. She was a member of the Hill Country Memorial Hospital Auxiliary and the Women Auxiliary group both in Fredericksburg, Texas. Marilynne was the one who had the ideal for October Fest and she started the P.C.A.A. of Fredericksburg, Texas. Her husband King Ransom is the Chief of the Hill Country Cherokee Indians who meet in Center Point on the 3rd Saturday of the month. They moved to Ingram, Texas in 1995 after selling the Bed and Breakfast in Fredericksburg, Texas.
Marilynne is survived by her husband of 20 years King Ransom of Ingram, Texas; 6 step children, 20 step grand children; 2 brothers, Baron Biaett and Kenneth Biaett and wife Dorothy both of Az.; sister, Kathleen and husband of Mi., and many other family members and friends who love her will miss her.
Memorial service will be 10:30 am, Monday, Nov. 14, 2005 at St. Barnabas Episcopal Church in Fredericksburg, Texas with Pastor Elwood officiating the services.
