
Frank Bernard Niemeyer at the age of 83 passed away Sunday, Dec. 11, 2005 at the Kerrville VA hospital. He was born on Jan. 1, 1922 in St. Louis, Missouri to Frank R. Niemeyer and Minnie Breer Niemeyer. Frank served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was self employed as a Lock Smith the name of his business was "A Accurate Lock & Safe" in St. Petersburg, Floria. Frand was a pilot and owned his on plane. He loved John Wayne movies and history,his favorite song was "All my X's came from Texas". Frank was very intelligent and was admired and repected by his peers. He married Vivian Irene Lamson on Nov. 30, 1989 in St. Louis, Missouri.
Frank is survived by his wife of 16 years Vivian Irene Niemeyer of Kerrville, Texas; three daughters; Lorene Reid and husband Pat of St. Louis, Missouri, Frances Murphy and husband Patrick of Fenton, Missouri and Mary Niemeyer of Largo, Florida; one son; Walter Niemeyer of St. Petersburg, Florida; five grandchildren and many other family members and friends who love him will miss him.
He is preceded in death by his parents Frank & Minnie Niemeyer a brother Walter Niemeyer and a son Frank Niemeyer.
Military graveside services will be held 2pm, Thursday, Dec. 15, 2005 at Ft. Sam National Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas with Chaplain Janice Petty officating the services.
