
James (Jim) A. Weeks at the age of 79 went to be with his Lord on Saturday, January 28, 2006 in Kerrville, Texas. He was born on December 5, 1926 in Floley, Alabama to Riley Weeks and Amelia Chestang Weeks. James worked many years as a restaurant magner after retirment Jim and Mary moved to Kerrville, Texas. He married Mary Francis Colson 52 years ago. He attened Notre Dame Catholic Church in Kerrville, Texas. Jim was a great cook and even after retirment he worked part time at Elaine's Table in Hunt, Texas. Jim was a great cook known for his gumbo and bread pudding which he will be greatly miss for.
James is survived by his wife of 52 years Mary Weeks of Ingram, Texas; son James Weeks Jr. of Galveston, Texas; daughts Kim Mueller and husband Michael of Sugarland, Texas and Karen Ostrom and husband Ricky of Kingwood, Texas; brother Emile Weeks and wife Mona of Austin, Texas; sisters Myrtle Small and husband Jim and Elanore Weatherwax and husband Jim both of Montana; 3 grandchildren and many other family members and friends who love him will miss him.
