Wieboldt liked to ride in my 1929 Franklin, it reminded him of a vehicle his family had. He came to Sabinal from somewhere up north. He fit in from day one. We all liked him, and enjoyed his company. We could never understand why a person with a little jingle in his pocket would settle in a place like Sabinal. I was 15 in 1943 when I owned the Franklin. Rest in Peace, Werner! Joe B. White Oak, TX.
