Joanie Marie Smith at the age of 50 went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 15, 2006 at her home in Kerrville, Texas. She was born on April 11, 1955 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma to Julius Repka Sr. and Mary Petty Repka. She married Gary Smith Sr. Joanie worked as a manager for a Oil Company. She loved to shop, cook, and the beach, spending time with her family and she had a special relationship with the Lord.
She is preceded in death by her husband Gary Smith Sr., sister Julie Ana Repka and a nephew AJ.
Joanie is survived by two sons Gary Smith Jr and wife Nikki of Austin, Texas and Justin Smith and wife Dottie of Houston, Texas; parents Julius Repka and wife Mary of Refugio, Texas; sisters Julie Repka who is her twin and best friend of Kerrville, Texas and Laurie Repka and husband Jim Naylor of Tilden, Texas; brothers Pete Repka and wife Sandy of Refugio, Texas, Tim Repka of McAllen, Texas, Tommy Repka of Bayside, Texas, Joey Repka and wife Angie of Portland, Texas, Cliff Repka and wife Lynn of Valrico, Florida, Johnny Repka of Refugio, Texas, James Repka and wife Donna of Refugio, Texas and many nieces, mephews and other family members, friends who love her will miss her.
Memorial services will be 10 am, Saturday, March 18, 2006 at Moore Funeral Home in Refugio, Texas.
