Marge, Frank and I were so sorry to hear about Tommy. We think of you two more often than you can imagine. We start talking about the old neighborhood, and you two always come into our conversation. We knew you moved from Bowling Green but did not know where you had gone. One of my fond memories of Tommy was when he came over, and I was working in the yard. I had just layed out and dug grass out for two new flower beds, one in each corner of the front yard. Tommy walked up and said with a smile, "You making Playboy Bunny flower beds?" I laughed, but when I got up and backed away to look at them, they were shaped just like the Playboy Bunny logo. I was shocked. We would like to have your e-mail or mailing address. With all our love. Mary Ann & Frank Bennett

Marge, I was sad to read this morning of Tommy's passing in the Bowling Green Daily News. My family (Frank and Mary Bennett and family) lived for many years at the corner of Nugget Drive and Prospect Lane in Bowling Green. I think often of the little neighborhood where my brothers and I grew up, and of the wonderful neighbors we had there, including you and Tommy. I can still picture Tommy working in his garden and remember vividly the songs of the birds filling your house when we would come in for a visit. It is hard for me to believe that it was nearly 15 years ago when we moved from that little neighborhood to Tennessee. I am 30 now, married for 7 years, and living in Clarksville, Tennessee. Mom and Dad are doing well, married 38 years, now living in Gallatin, Tennessee, and just settling in to retirement. I hope they, and my husband Ryan and I, are fortunate enough, as it sounds you and Tommy have been, to someday look back and to have enjoyed 59 years of marriage. What a wonderful life. I hope you are well and finding comfort in your family and friends during this time. I am truly sorry for your loss. Thinking of you! Kimberly Bennett Crosslin

Read this morning of your sorry. I'm your neighbor up the street at 200. My husband, Harry, was a bowler with Dick and wife. May the Lord bless you all and may you have peace. I have found that peace is "seeing a sunset and know who to thank for it." Maxine Powell
