1922 - 2006
Thomas Chandler at the age of 84 passed away Thursday, April 6, 2006 at a Kerrville, Texas hospital. He was born on Feb. 27, 1922 in Kemmerer, Wyoming to William Mossman and Phebe Chandler Mossman. Thomas retired from the U.S. Air Force he served during World War II and Korea during the time 1942 til 1968. He was a member of the American Legion, DAV, BAV and the VFW. Thomas after retirement loved making childrens life a joy and dream come true by playing Santa Claus at the North Star Mall in San Antonio, Texas for many years, he would grow his beard and mustache show he would look more real.
He is preceded in death by his parents William and Phebe Mossman and his wife Linnie who passed away in 1986.
Thomas is survived by his son Thomas Chandler of San Antonio, Texas; brother Dan Mossman of Georgia; sister Starr Stockdale of Organ and many other family members and friends who love him will mis him.
Visitation will be held Monday, April 10, 2006 at Wrights Funeral Parlor Kerrville, Texas, family will greet guest 1 til 5 p.m.
Graveside services will be held 2:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 11, 2006 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas with full Military Honors.
