1930 - 2006

Thomas (Tom) Edgar Bell at the age of 75 passed away Thursday, April 6, 2006 at his home in Kerrville, Texas after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born on November 3, 1930 in Steep Creek, Texas to Edgar Bell and Pauline Gee Edgar and was raised in the Silsbee, Texas area. Tom married Marilyn Garrison. He moved to Alaska in the early 1960's where he worked in the oil field industry and owned and operated GBR Supply Company. He retired to Kerrville in 1999. Thomas is preceded in death by his parents Edgar Bell and Pauline Gee Bell, grandson Jonathan Cook, and great granddaughter Trinity Bell. Tom is survived by his loving wife Marilyn Bell of Kerrville, Texas. adoring children Thomas Lloyd Bell and wife Patricia of Texas; daughter Melinda Cook and husband Rufus of Louisiana; brothers Joe Bell and wife Carol of Fredericksburg, Texas and Delton Bell and wife of Texas; sisters Mary Tarver, Margaret Costlow and Polly Clark; grandchildren Christopher Bell, Nicholas Bell, Jennifer Bell and Kathryn Hope Cook; great grandchildren Ayden Bell, MacKenzie Shuff and Tristin Bell and many other family members and friends will miss him. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Vista Care Hospice 1001 Water St. Suit B-100, Kerrville, Texas 78028 or a charity of your choice. Private family memorial service.

I rememeber Tom and rest of the Bell boys from my chidhood and teen years in Silsbee. Peace and conmfort for the family is my prayer.

Marilyn & Family, I am so sorry to hear of your loss but so glad that Tom is now at peace. You both were so wonderful to mom and to our family when she passed, please let us know if there is anything at all we can do or help with.
