Marie Lee Wasson at the age of 96 passed away Wednesday, May 17, 2006 at a local care center in Kerrville, Texas. She was born on May 5, 1910 in Jasper, Texas to William Byerly and Emma Trotti Byerly. Marie married Frank Wasson on Oct. 1, 1936 in Beaumont, Texas and Frank passed away in 1994. She was a loving housewife and mother to two children. Marie was a member of the United Methodist Church and she attained Lamar College and the Business School but her family was more important to her.
She is preceded in death by her parents William and Emma Byerly and her husband Frank Wasson.
Marie is survived by her children James Wasson and wife Melinda of Kerrviille, Texas and Marie Brookshier and husband A. Doss of Lago Vista, Texas and many other family members and friends will miss her.
