Charles Loyd WillisCharles Loyd Willis at the age of 84 passed away on Friday, July 144, 2006 at his home in Kerrville, Texas. He was born on June 23, 1922 in Granite, Oklahoma to Thomas Willis and Cora Johnson Willis. Charles served in the U.S. Navy during World War II, he was in from 1942 till 1945. He married Floyce Spurlock on Aug. 11, 1946 in Wichita Falls, Texas. Charles was a member of St. Peters Episcopal Church in Kerrville, Texas and the Barbar shop group. He is preceded by his parents Thomas & Cora Willis; 2 brothers Brad & J.F. Willis; 2 sisters Ruth & Katherine. Charles is survived by his wife Floyce Willis of Kerrville, Texas; two sons Wayne Willis & wife Christie of Santa Fe, Texas and Chuck Willis & wife Brenda of Kerrville, Texas; daughter Leah Bellamy of Kerrville, Texas; 6 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and many other family members and friends who love him will miss him. Memorial services will be held 11am, Wednesday, July 19, 2006 at Wright's Funeral Parlor in Kerrville, Texas with full military honors with Father Tom Muray officating the services.
