Robert Earl Gray at the age of 73 passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 12, 2006 at a San Antonio Hospital, after suffering complications due to a fire in his home on Aug. 28, 2006. He was born on April 1, 1933 in Bellaire, Ohio to Oscar Columbus Gray and Virginia Irene Taylor Gray. Robert married Shirley Cunningham. He served in the U.S. Army during Korea.
He is preceded in death by his parents Oscar and Virginia Gray.
Robert is survived by his wife Shirley Gray of Center Point, Texas; daughters Syree Burley and husband Dave of Center Point, Texas and Margie Davis and husband Buddy of Carrolton, Ohio; sons Bobby Blankenship of Canton, Ohio, Dale Blankenship and wife Peg of Canton, Ohio, Richard Blankenship and wife Alice of Smithfield, N.C. and Perry Gray and wife Joan of Bellaire, Ohio; sister Sharen Studenc and husband Frank of Longwood, Florida; 18 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and many other family members and friends who love him will miss him.
