James O MooreJames O. Moore at the age of 70 passed away on Sunday, September 17, 2006 at his home in Kerrville, Texas. He was born on June 15, 1936 in Waco, Texas to Vernon Moore and Juanetta Payne Moore . James served in the U.S. Air Force during Vietnam and retired in 1978. He married Anne Shephard on July 8, 1961 in Topeka, Kansas. He was a member of the Cactus Camping Group and the Southwinders Camping Group. He is preceded in death by his parents. James is survived by his wife of 45 years Anne Moore of Kerrville, Texas; two sons Stephen Moore and wife Min Wei Lee MD of Walnut Grove, CA. and Michael Moore of Orlando, Florida; daughter Carol Jacobs MD of Livingston, Texas; brother Robert Moore and wife Donna of Roseville, CA; 7 grandchildren, one foster child and many other family members and friends who love him will miss him. Graveside services will be 2:15pm, Friday, Sept. 22, 2006 at Ft. Sam National Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas with full Military Honors.

Enjoyed knowing and playing golf with Jim, he was a great competitor. I know I speak for all "Blue Suiters" when I say Jim you will be sorely missed. Thanks for your dedicated service to the Country. May God rest his soul.

Evelyn & Glenn became acquainted with Jim & Anne through Cactus Campers and golf in Kerrville. We had a lot of enjoyable and memorable good times together. Our memories of Jim are all pleasant. And we will miss him. Our thoughts and prayers are with you, Anne, and the family.
