Edwin "Buddy" Brooks Peak at the age of 74 passed away on Friday, Sept. 22, 2006 at the Kerrville hospital. He was born on Feb. 6, 1932 in Stockdale, Texas to Walter Peak and Kathleen Fulton Peak. Buddy served in the U.S. Army during Korea. He married Barbara Barrow on November 22, 1966 in Boerne, Texas. Buddy was a member of the First Baptist Church of Llano, Texas.
He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Walter Peak, sister Barbara Gass and step son Ross Allee.
Buddy is survived by his wife Barbara Peak of Llano, Texas; step sons Doug Allee and wife Patricia of San Antonio, Texas, Allen Allee and wife Denise of Atlanta, GA., Chip Erler and wife Dina of Ft. Worth, Texas; 2 sisters Nancy Huff and husband Bud of CA. and Betty Neeley; 5 grandchildren Amy, Nathan, Kirsten, Jennifer and John; 4 great grandchildren Julia, Holden,Tristan and Kody, many other family members and friends who love him will miss him.
Graveside services will be held at 10:45 am, Monday, Oct. 2, 2006 Fort Sam National Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas with Military Honors.
