.jpg) Royce Eugene Adams at the age of 78 passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 17, 2006 in Kerrville, Texas. He was born on Feb. 24, 1928 in St. Louis, Missouri to Samuel Adams and Rachel Beckett Adams. Royce married Patricia James in July 5, 1949 in Valley Park, MO. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1945 till 1948 as a C Bee helping to clean up in Guam. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Royce is survived by his wife of 57 years Patricia Adams of Kerrville, Texas; sons Dale and wife Vickie, Gary and wife Nancy and Douglas and wife Jennifer; daughter Susan and husband Grady; 8 grandchildren Gordon, Carly, Colin, Emily, Shannon, Kyle, Ashley and Grant; brother Richard Adams and their children and many other family members and friends who love him will miss him.
A celebration of life will be held 1pm, Friday, Oct. 20, 2006 at Wright's Funeral Parlor in Kerrville, Texas with full military honors.
In lieu of flowers you can make memorials to the Vietnam Veterans Honor Guard in Kerrville, Texas.
