Deanne, we've been best friends for many years. Your family has its own special place in my heart. I am so heartbroken for all of you. Your dad was a great man. I have nothing but fond memories of him. He obviously touched so many people. God blessed you with the time all of you had together with your dad. I pray that he blesses you now and gives you the strength to get through this painful time. Take joy in knowing he is in a better place. You'll see him again one day. I love you!

Dear Ruth Ann and Girls, I am so sorry for your loss! I cannot imagine the pain that you are all going through. However, please know that your dad and husband made such a difference in so many lives. He always made us feel so special and accepted, each time we were around him. We always found ourselves smiling in his presence! He was so full of life, and treated everyone with such respect and kindness! Isn’t that what we all strive to become??? You were so blessed to be loved by him! May God comfort you during this difficult time, and know that he is happy and free of pain, and that you will once again be joined with your father and soul mate! You are definitely in our thoughts and prayers, and we love you so very much! Travis, Terre, Tyler and Todd Tunstall

The bond between our two families has been fast and strong for many, many years. That bond was built, in no small part, on the love John showed me and my brothers. My parents, Dick and Loretta, will be there to greet his arrival home. I will miss him very, very much. I loved him dearly! I hope the knowledge that so many loved him and held John with great esteem, will offer some comfort to Ruth Ann, Donna, Denise, Deanne and the rest of the family.

Dearest Ruth Ann, My heart goes out to you in this confusing sorrowful time. I know your children are a great source of comfort and support to you, however, know that if you need to talk I will be here for you. I will send positive thoughts your way on the 11th. It may sound cliche...but throughout the experience with my John...I kept repeating...he is not in pain, not suffering, not afraid...not lost...and I got through it...and so will you. Love, Anita
