Vernice V. Winsett "Blondie" at the age of 94 passed away on Sunday, December 10, 2006 at his home in Kerrville, Texas. He was born on May 18, 1912 in Elmore City, Oklahoma to William Tom Winsett and Essie E. Bolin Winsett. VV was a vegetable farm his whole life owning his on farm which was named Winsett Farms. He married Myrtie Moore on Feb. 3, 1945 in Mission, Texas. VV was a member of the Methodist Church in Oklahoma. He is preceded in death by his parents William and Essie Winsett and a son Vernon Lee Winsett.
VV is survived by his wife of 61 years Myrtie Winsett of Kerrville, Texas; brother Wayne Winsett and wife Mary Jane of Oklahoma; 2 grandchildren Wayne Edward Winsett and Elizabeth Winsett; 1 great grandchild Callie Winsett and many other family members and friends who love him will miss him.
