1916 - 2007
Robert Charles McKinley at the age of 90 passed away on Tuesday, May 1, 2007 at the Kerrville VA hospital. He was born on Oct. 21, 1916 in Tipton, Iowa to Fredrick McKinley and Gladys (McCow) McKinley. Robert served in the U.S. Army as a Major during World War II from 1941 till 1946. Then he went on to be a Insurance agent till he retired. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Ingram. He is preceded in death by his parents and wife.
Robert is survived by his daughters Pam Richmond and husband Rick of Roanoke, Texas and Bobbie Wieth and husband John of Austin, Texas; four grandchildren Paige Richmond, Matthew Richmond both of Roanoke, Texas, and Noelle Pourchot and husband Jon and Rebecca Rehurek and husband Jay of Mount Julret, Tennessee Texas, and Gretchen Calvert and husband Scott of Austin, Texas; great grandchildren Carlie Calvert, Kate Rehurek, Jon Pourchot, Lacey Pourchot and Luke Rehurek; dear friend Linda Pearson and many other family members and friends who love him will miss him.
