I was very sorry to hear about Juanita'a passing. She was very special to my roommate, Joan, and me when we lived in an apartment near her's and Bill's around 36 years ago. It was always fun to go over and talk with Juanita after a day of teaching. She gave me some great recipes, helped with sewing ideas, and was a wonderful conversationalist. I'll always remember babysitting for her grandson, Jim, when he was a brand new baby. Joan and I especially enjoyed camping on the desert with Bill and Juanita. When they returned to California for a visit, they were able to meet my husband, Bob and my two little girls....all grown-up now!
I will always have good memories of my times with both Juanita and Bill. God bless all of you!

Memories abound of Juanita. She was a generous and loving friend as well as an adopted mother to Janne (Billie Ann and Janne were just a few days apart in age). Ray, Bill and Bob joined forces to build the house in Willis. Ray remembers this as an enjoyable time rather than work.
We shared so many good and happy times with Jaunita. The last 27 years have been richer for knowing a wonderful person such as she.
May she rest in peace.
With love and condolences,
Janne and Ray Davio
