James Richard Darland at the age of 74 passed away on Thursday, July 12, 2007 at the Kerrville VA hospital. He was born on November 2, 11932 in Marinette, Wisconsin to William Darland and Ethel Laura (Sharer) Darland. James served in the U.S. Army from 1952 till 1955. He was a member of the D.A.V. James married Carole Moon. He is preceded in death by his parents and 11 siblings.
James is survived by his wife Carole Darland of Kerrville, Texas; 2 step children Rondole LeCompte of Garland, Texas and Rhonda Horrall of Jacksonville, Florida; 6 step grandchildren and many other many members and friends who love him will miss him.
