Howard David Swails at the age of 75 passed away on Monday, July 16, 2007 in Bandera, Texas. He was born on Aug. 18, 1931 in Harrisburg, Pa. to Howard Day Swails and Carrie Bear Swails. Howard married Patricia Seiders. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1950 till 1954. Howard was a member of AARP and the American Legion in Bandera. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Howard is survived by his wife Patricia Swails of Kerrville, Texas; 4 sons William E. Swails of Washington, David H. Swails of Pennsylvania, Kevin W. Swails of Texas and Gregory L. Swails of Louisiana; brother Robert (Bobby) Swails of Pennsylvania; 3 sisters Laura Henny of Pennsylvania, Jean Nickle of Florida and Cherry Speck of Florida; 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren and many other family members and friends who love him will miss him.
Services will be held at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas at a later date.
