We want to express our love and comfort to Tammy, Jeff, and Mark. Lavonne was our aunt and a very lively, special, funny, and wonderful person. When we would talk she always made it seem as if no time had passed. Our mom and her were like twins born years apart and them together always made us laugh. We will miss her so much and our thoughts are with you always. Love you .

Dear Tammy, Jeffrey,Marc & Families,
I just wanted to express my condolences. I used to work with your mom at DHS, and she was a wonderful person. I am sorry that I couldn't attend her funeral. She always had a wonderful sense of humor, and she always tried to look on the bright side of things. She was a strong person, and she touched many lives in a positive way. She was a good, faithful, dedicated individual who believed wholeheartedly in the work ethic. I am proud that I knew her. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
Sincerely,
Janice Howell

What a character Lavonne always was, even when she didn't feel well. My prayers go out to all her loved ones who will miss her so much. She was always willing to help and always did - always! Elvis surely has his most devoted fan at his side!!

My thoughts and prayers are with Lavonne's loved ones. I worked with this very special lady for many years and will always remember her for her quick wit, her laughter, and her thoughtfulness. She was always willing to lend a hand whenever needed, and you could always count on her to crack a joke and lift one's spirits. And of course, I'll never think of Lavonne without thinking of Elvis.
She was a terrific person and will be missed.

Lavonne and I worked together for the State of Texas for many years. She was a dear friend and was always able to make me laugh, even when I didn't want to. She was one of the sweetest people I've ever known. I will miss her very, very much.
