Mrs. Deimel, I am very sorry to hear of Ray's passing. I just received an email from Col Chuck Ulmer, informing me of Ray's death...please accept my deepest sympathy.
I served with Ray in Newfoundland from 1958-1961 and again in Vietnam. I met you in 1971 at McChord AFB when Ray so graciously invited me to dinner at your house. Although I did not see Ray again after 1971, I have always considered him a dear friend based on our time spent together. May God Bless you and comfort you in your loss.
With best regards and deep respect for an old friend.
