Lavaughn Martin Phillips Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1926 - 2008 Lavaughn Martin Phillips at the age of 81 passed away on Saturday, Jan. 122, 2008 in a local Kerrville, Texas hospital. She was born on Feb. 3, 1926 IN Dana, Indiana to Howard Scott Martin Sr and Ollie Mae (Phillips) Martin . Lavaughn married William R. Phillips I on Sept. 6, 1949 in Indiana. She was a constitute for Mary Kay. Lavaughn was a member of St. Paul's Methodist Church of Kerrville. She is preceded in death by her parents. Lavaughn is survived by her husband William Phillips I of Kerrville, Texas; daughter Elaine Bicknell and husband Bruce of Hunt, Texas; son William R. Phillips II of Austin; brother Howard S. Martin Jr of Indiana; grandchild Abbot Low Moffat III of California and many other family members and friends who love her will miss her. Private memorial services will be at a later date.

Ms. Phillips was a wonderful lady. She even wanted to help me get my nursing degree. Sadly she passed before that could happen. I miss her and think of her often.
