Brack Eric Callahan at the age of 61 passed away on Monday, Jan. 21, 2008 at the Kerrville, Texas VA hospital. He was born on Aug. 8, 1946 in Tyler, Texas to Stanley Callahan and Daphna Evans Callahan. Brack graduated from Bandera High School in 1964 and immediately joined the Armed Services. He served in the U.S. Army form 1964 till 1970 during Vietnam. Brack became a Army Combat Medic with the 1st Calvary Division and served two tours of duty in Vietnam before receiving a honorable discharge. He married Traci Latimer in 1998. Brack also was a Sheriff, and he went over sea's to Central America for a while. He is preceded in death by his father Stanley Callahan in 1998.
Brack is survived by his wife Traci Callahan of Kerrville, Texas; mother Daphna Callahan of Brady; 3 brothers Bobby Callahan and wife Judy of Houston, Bruce Callahan and wife Lori of Billings, Montana, Brice Callahan of Brady; 1 sister Nita Frost and husband Gene of Lohn; 5 children Eric Mann, Conrad Callahan and wife Staci, of Hills, Utah, Laura Callahan of Browning, Montana, Jacob Callahan and wife Amanda of Fayetteville, North Carolina, Tyler Callahan of Missoula, Montana,; 4 grandchildren and many other family members and friends who love him will miss him.
Memorial services will be held 6pm, Thursday, Jan. 24, 2008 at Wright's Funeral Parlor in Kerrville, Texas with full Military honors.
