Bryan Elward BrownBryan Elward Brown at the age of 72 passed away on Thursday, April 3, 2008 at a Kerrville hospital. He was born on December 15, 1935 in Bay City, Texas to Henry Brown and Ruth Kirby Brown. Bryan served in the U.S. Army from 1955 till 1957, then he went on to the Reserves from 1957 till 1961. He married Susan Jurasek on Nov. 30, 1974 in Bay City, Texas. He was a Diesel Mechanic most of his life. Bryan moved to Hunt Texas in 1993. He is preceded in death by his parents, sister. Bryan is survived by his loving wife of 33 years Susan Brown of Hunt, Texas; son Calvin Brown and wife Teresa of Walden, New York; 3 daughters Diana Brown and husband Chris of Bay City, Texas, Stephanie Gertiser and husband Scott of Germany and Tammy Ybarra of Austin, Texas; 2 brothers Johnny Alexander and wife Linda of Bay City, Texas and Bobby Alexander of Austin, Texas; 2 sister Betty Medley and husband Elmer Henderson, Texas and Sandy Sparks of Acapulco, Mexico; 9 grandchildren and many other family members and friends who love him will miss him. Visitation will be 10 ~ 12, Monday, April 7, 2008 at Wright's Funeral Parlor in Kerrville, Texas. Military Graveside services will be held at 1pm, Monday, April 7, 2008 at Hunt Japonica Cemetery in Hunt, Texas with full Military honors. Pallbearers will be Chris, David, Kenny and Tiny. In lieu of flowers memories can be made to the American Heart Assoc. or Sid Peterson Memorial Hospital in Kerrville.
