1920 - 2008
Clifford H. Schlabach at the age of 87 passed away on Saturday, April 26, 2008 at his home in Kerrville. He was born on December 7, 1920 in Woodsborrow, Texas to Edmund Schlabach and Ida "Walzel" Schlabach. Cliff married Diane Garcia. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II from 1942 till 1945. Cliff went on to work in the oil fields till he retired. He was a member of the Kerrville VFW Post 1480. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Cliff is survived by his wife Diane Schlabach of Kerrville, Texas; son David Schlabach and wife Eva of Kerrville; daughter Teri Rea Davis of California; brother Monroe Schlabach and wife Lavinia of Ingram, Texas; sister Patty Stevens and husband Steve of Victoria, Texas; grandson Dusty Schlabach and many other family members and friends who love him will miss him.
Memorial services will be held 2pm, Thursday, May 1, 2008 in Refugio, Texas.
