1910 - 2008
 William Van Ostrand at the age of 97 passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2008 at his daughter's house in Ingram. He was born on Dec. 14, 1910 in Stolwell, Texas to William Van Ostrand and Matilda "Reviea" Van Ostrand. William worked at the Air Force Base in Wichita Falls as the chief of the laundry department. He moved to the Hill country in 1972. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Dorthy and brothers and sisters.
William is survived by his daughter Lois Hines and husband Jack of Ingram, TX; 2 grandchildren Richard Hines and Dana Virgin; 1 great grandchild Kristine De La Rosa; 2 great great grandchildren Sierra De La Rosa and Mary Megan Sharon and many other family members and friends who love him will miss him.
Visitation will be held 10 until 7 pm on Friday, Sept. 19, 2008 at Wright's Funeral Parlor (1913 Junction Hwy.) family will greet guest from 5 until 7.
Funeral services will be held 2:30 pm, Saturday, Sept. 20, 2008 at Wright's Funeral Parlor in Kerrville with Pastor Cummings officiating the services. Interment will follow at Nichols cemetery in Kerrville. |
