I was so shocked to hear about Jack's passing, it seems like so short a time since I had spoken to him. He was a co worker that I really enjoyed fellowshiping with. We enjoyed talking about our common experiences in the oil field, and called ourselves "oil field trash."
We find some comfort though as we read Jesus' words in John 5:24:
"truly, truly, I say to you;whoever hears My words; and believes Him who sent Me has eternal life, and will not be condemned. He has crossed over from death to life."
