Lucille "Boots" Eleanor Boehler at the age of 78 passed away from this life on Saturday October 25, 2008 in a local care center. She was born on "Black Monday" Oct. 29, 1929 the day the stock market crashed in Gary, Indiana to Frank Wolf and Leona Wolf. Boots worked as a secretary for a brick company. She was truly one of a kind, as anyone who ever met her would attest to, a very "colorful character"! As per her wishes, she will be cremated and her ashes scattered in the Gulf of Mexico, as were her husband Red's. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother Frank Wolf, sister Lee Bidle, and her husband Red Boehler.
Boots is survived by 2 sons Jay Hallas of Kerrville, Texas and William "Bill" Hallas of Houston, Texas; grandson William Hallas III; great grandson William Halls IV of Freeport; dear friend Cindy Snider of Kerrville; loyal beloved dog Danny and many other family members and friends who love her and will miss her.
Private memorial services was already held. No further services are pending.
