Delmar Joan Cox at the age of 68 passed away on Tuesday, January 20, 2009 at a local hospital. She was born on January 9, 1941 in Alexandria, Louisiana to Delmar and Mary Youngblood. Joan worked a a butcher in a meat market most of her life. She loved to fish and her grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents.
Joan is survived by her daughter Kim Collier and husband Johnny of Kerrville; sister Bernice Owes of Hobbs, NM; grandchildren Laura Twilley and husband Chris, Bubba Qualls and Sara Shotts; great grandchild Kayla Twilley and many other family member and friends who love her will miss her.
No services.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Cancer Society.
