1942 - 2009
William Eugene Ross at the age of 66 passed away on Wednesday, March 25, 2009 at the Kerrville Texas VA hospital after a long battle with cancer. He was born on Nov. 25, 1942 in Richmond, Indian to Ival and Mary Ross. William served in the U.S. Army from 1960 until 1967. He married Donna Williams on May 30, 1967. They had one child Julia born on January 8, 1968. William and Donna moved from Botkins Ohio to Boerne Texas in the summer of 1980 where they lived until his death. He was deeply loved by many and will be greatly missed.
William is survived by his wife of 42 years Donna Ross of Boerne; daughter Juli Throne and husband Dennis of Lakehills; grandchildren Ashlei Chavez and husband Christopher of San Antonio; grandson Christopher Chavez Jr of San Antonio; sister Betty McClure of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania; brother John Ross of Campbellstown, Ohio and many other family members and friends who love him will miss him.
