Robert Milton Crawford at the age of 59 passed away on Saturday, April 18, 2009 at a Kerrville Texas hospital. He was born on September 02, 1949 in San Antonio to Robert J. and Vada "Blackmore" Crawford. He initially moved to Kerrville in 1971., but moved back to the coastal area in 1981. He then moved back to Kerr County in 1987, where he lived for the past 22 years. Bob had numerous work skills from automotive mechanic, construction, to medical, but his most loved profession was the shrimping industry. he loved the water and the coast.
Bob is survived by his wife Haydee Crawford; step-children Earvin Monje and Maegan Monje of Center Point, Texas; daughters Melinda Bell and husband Vernon of Center Point, Texas and Melissa Crawford-Savage and husband Rick of Fort Worth, Texas; five grandchildren Timothy Wood, Jeremy Bullis, Damien Bullis, Mark Savage and Megan Savage; mother Vada Crawford of Comfort, Texas; sister Vada Rigolo and husband Ray of Pflugerville, Texas; two nephews John Rigolo and wife Yvonne of Cedar Park, Texas and Joe Rigolo and wife Jen of Bossier, Louisiana; great niece, nephew, 2 aunts, former wife and lifelong friend Gail Crawford of Rockdale, Texas and many other family members and friends who love him will miss him.
Memorial services will be held 2pm, Saturday, April 25, 2009 at Trinity Church in Center Point, Texas will Pastor Gregg Boothby officiating the services.
