James S. Hollimon at the age of 74 passed away at his home on Monday, June 08, 2009. He was born on March 26, 1935 in Kerrville, Texas to Clergy Hollimon and Bess "Freman" Hollimon. James served in the U.S. Air Force from 1954 until 1957. He married Suzanne Hof in 1957. He is preceded in death by his parents, sister Grace Clower in 1965, brothers Buddy in 1977 and Freddy in 1977, son John Claude in 1993.
James is survived by his wife of 52 years Suzanne Hollimon of Kerrville; sons Jeff Hollimon and wife Lauren of Kerrville and Jimmy Eddie Hollimon and wife Teri of San Antonio; daughter Michelle Hollimon of Kerrville; brother John and wife Dabs of San Antonio; sister Susie and husband Eddie Bauer of Kerrville; 10 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and many other family members and friends who love him will miss him.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Hospices of Kerrville or Hill Country Youth Ranch or charity of one's choice.
