Joan Guillaume at the age of 79 passed away on Saturday, July 04, 2009 at a Kerrville Texas care center. She was born on Sept. 25, 1929 in Petoskey, MI. to Harold and Nina Guillaume. Joan was a teacher most of her life. She is preceded in death by her parents and her sister.
Joan is survived by her nephew Geoffery Guillaume of Harbor Springs, MI and many other family members and friends who love her will miss her.
Services are pending.

Some weeks ago, the thrift store
run by volunteers, to benefit Hill
Country Youth Ranch, received many
boxes of books about birds/nature/
Michigan--perfect condition, useful to charter schools at ranch. We did not know how to thank the donor--did not know identity, except that a few books
had "Joan Guillaume" on bookmarks.
As volunteers for ranch, we hope we can now tell survivors how much
we appreciate the donation. We
have seldom had such quality.
Personally, I'd like to have known Joan Guillaume.
