Gerald Blain DennisGerald Blain Dennis at the age of 47 passed away on Friday, July 31, 2009 in a San Antonio, Texas hospital. He was born on Oct. 12, 1961 in Kermit, Texas to Edsel and Brenda Sue Dennis. Gerald was a hard worker who worked off shore and on land in the Gulf of Mexico as a driller for water and oil companies. He was also a welder and a jack of all trades, always helping out a friend or neighbor when he was in need. Gerald was a specialist E-4 in the U.S. Army National Guard for 6 years. His favorite hobbies were riding his Harley and fishing. Gerald is survived by his parents Brenda Sue and Edsel Dennis of Center Point, TX; brother Billy Dennis and wife Georgine; cousins Dean and wife Kathy Grissom, Becky Barna, Jana Lozano, John James, Mark Pinson and numerous Aunts, Uncles and many other family members and friends who love him will miss him. Private family memorial services. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made in his name to the American Cancer Society.

I am sooooooo sorry for your loss. I knew Gerald I loveland colorado. He was a wonderful friend!!!! It's been many years since i had seen him he was always in my thoughts!!! He is greatly missed.

TO THOSE WHO DIDN'T GET TO KNOW MY BROTHER GERALD DENNIS HE WAS A VERY LOVEING PERSON AND MY BEST FRIEND WE DONE THINGS TOGETHER FISHING CAMPING ALL KIND'S OF THINGS WE ALL SO WORKED TOGETHER IN WATER WELL DRILLING AND THE OIL FIELD I LOVE YOU BRO AND MISS YOU VERY VERY MUCH YOUR LITTLE BROTHER BILLY DENNIS

Gerald was a good friend of ours. He had a heTexas. Gerald and I(Danny) grew to be close friends as we shared common ground and both suffered from cancer. We know that he is in good hands in heaven with GOD. Our prayers go to the family. We love you Gerald!

I haven't lived in Kerrville for quite some time now and thanks to Tiffany at the Credit Union that is how I found out what happened. I send you all my love and peace be with you all.
