Nasaria Vela Garza at the age of 81 passed away on Friday, November 20, 2009 at the Peterson Regional Medical Center in Kerrville, Texas surrounded by her family. She was born on August 31, 1928 in LaCejita, Texas to Benjamin and Guadalupe Vela. Nasaria married Ramiro Garza on November 29, 1947. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Ramiro and daughter Veronica Ann.
Survivors include two sisters and three brothers; 3 Daughters Elva Rodriguez and husband Ricardo, Linda Garza and husband Joe, Grace Carrizales and husband Juan; 4 Sons, Juan F. and wife Linda, Joe M. and wife Luisa, Javier R., Armando, Lionel C. and wife Michelle; 14 Grandchildren Teresa Garza-Thuesen ,Traci Seymour, Tara Franzen, Michael, Mark, Patricia, Rachel Spurlock, Katherine, Vanessa, Daniel, Jennifer Garza, Jessica Chapa, James and Melissa Carrizales; twelve great grandchildren Hailey, Taylor, Kortnie, Gavin, Drew, McKenzie, Alexis, Jeremiah, Aiden, Elena, Bryson, and Larissa.
Memorial service will be at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 2160 Goat Creek Rd, Kerrville, Texas on Wednesday, November 25, at 2:00pm with Paul York officiating the service. There will be a Grave side service on Saturday, November 28th at 2:00pm at the Fairview Cemetery, in Bastrop, Texas.
