
Laura Diane Winton at the age of 76 passed from this life to the hands of God on Wednesday, December 02, 2009 in the graceful and good way she lived surrounded by loved ones. She was born on June 03, 1933 in Elizabethton, TN. to Chester and Leona Powell. Laura married Robert Winton in 1953. She is preceded in death by her parents, daughter Christine Winton, nephew David Powell and brother Reginald Powell.
Laura is survived by her life partner and husband of 56 years Robert Winton of Kerrville, TX; sons Robert Dean Winton and wife Carol of Thousand Oaks, CA, Gregory Tyler Winton and wife Phyllis of Kerrville, Tx; daughter Robin Winton Price and husband Randy of Angels Camp, Ca; brother Wayne Powell of Windsor, Ca; granddaughters Leona Marrole and husband Jim of Lodi, Ca, Joyce Guzardo and husband Travis of Kerrville, Tx, Laura Price of Santa Cruz, Ca, Jennifer Winton McNeil of Palmdale, Ca, Christine Smith and husband Tim of Temecula, Ca, Heather Winton and husband Dakota Robin of Thousand Oak, Ca, Ruby Nicholas and husband Ronnie of Lake View, Or, Sara Christine Winton of Kerrville, Tx, Kelley McNeil of Tehatchipi, Ca; grandsons Travis James Winton and wife Elizabeth of Kerrville, Tx, Gregory Tyler Winton Jr and wife Marissa of Kerrville, Tx, Jason Ash and wife Jesse of Huntington Beach, Ca, and Matthew McNeil and wife Mary of Tehatchipi, Ca; great grandchildren Jannessa, Aspen, Blake, Guzardo of Kerrville, Tx, Isabella, Giavonna Marrone of Lodi, Ca, Roxanne, Rannon Nicholas of Lake View, Or, Reese, Keaton, Landon Smith of Temecula, CA, Avian, Faith Winton of Kerrville, Tx, Dax Winton of Kerrville, Tx, Joshua, Kaled, Garrett Winton McNeil of Palmdale, Ca, Ryder Robin of Thousand Oaks, Ca, Madison, Kennedy Ash of Huntington Beach, Ca, Amelia McNeil of Tehatchipi, Ca; and many other family members and friends she will be remembered or the largeness of her heart and will be missed by all.
Burial will be in Oak Wood Cemetery at Chatworth, California at a later date.
